The Whitmore Park neighbourhood, located in the South end, was part of the city post war expansion. The neighbourhood began development in the 1950’s when there was a need for more residential housing. The area features many cul-de-sacs, single-detached housing and houses built on larger lots.
Whitmore park has close access to the University of Regina, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic, great for students. The neighbourhood is within walking distance to all Albert Street Amenities such as grocery stores, restaurants, Southland Mall and is just a short distance from Massey Pool. Whitmore Park also has three elementary schools, St. Matthew school, Grant Road Elementary School, École Massey elementary school and one high school, Campbell Collegiate.
