Welcome to Uplands
This long standing community is in the north end of Regina. Following World War II, there was a sudden increase in Regina’s population. This created a need for new housing and prompted the development of suburban neighbourhoods such as Uplands. This neighbourhood was built in the 1970’s and is still continuing to grow with the recent development of Kensington Greens.
One of the most popular features of this neighbourhood is Mount Pleasant Sport Park. This major sports facility offers baseball and softball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis courts and more! There are other green spaces across the community with more recreational opportunities such as informal walking paths, tobogganing hills, play structures and outdoor rinks.
Uplands is close to all north end amenities such as the Northgate Mall, Albert Street, and is only a 15 minute drive from downtown Regina! The neighbourhood also offers two public elementary schools Ruth Pawson School and M.J Caldwell Elementary School, and one separate elementary school, St. Gregory School.
